"Hailing from the Isle of Wight in Southern England, 5-piece indie-electro group ‘Nakamarra’ are set for another huge year following the release of their new single ‘Hide’ on the 23rd of February'.

The harmonious mix of indie grooves, ambient instrumentals and cutting vocals offer an infectious sonic palate; think Wolf Alice & Foals fronted by a young Adele. Amongst a range of festival performances during the summer of 2017, the band had the opportunity to play on their prestigious home festival Isle of Wight by opening the Saturday main stage, supporting the likes of The Kooks, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Arcade Fire. Additionally, the band were handpicked by Bestival curator Rob Da Bank to be the closing act on the Invaders of the Future Stage at Bestival 2017. Citing their ‘soul, power and instrumental dexterity’ as reasons he championed the band. After having a big year in 2017 the group are set on a mission to fall headfirst into our festival line-ups. In 2018 the band also went on their fist self funded tour across the South Coast of England, performing in Brighton, Bath, Bristol and Southampton to promote their latest single 'Hide'.
